【摘要】:1.1Thisclassificationsystemcoversrequirementsforplasticizedcelluloseacetatebutyratethermoplasticcompoundssuitableforinjectionmoldingandextrusion.Thesecompoundshaveabutyrylcontentlessthan38%andanacetylcontentlessthan15%andcancontaindyesandpigments.Thisclassificationsystemdoesnotincludespecialmaterialscompoundedforspecialapplications.Cellulosicplasticmaterials,beingthermoplastic,arereprocessableandrecyclable.Thisclassificationsystemallowsfortheuseofthosecellulosicmaterials,providedthatallspecificrequirementsofthisclassificationsystemaremet.1.2Thepropertiesincludedinthisclassificationsystemarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.OtherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplicationsarespecifiedbyusingthesuffixesasgiveninSection5.1.3Thisclassificationsystemandsubsequentlinecallout(specification)areintendedtoprovideameansofcallingoutplasticmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectioncanbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticfieldonlyaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandperformancerequiredofthepart,environmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,fabricationprocesstobeemployed,costsinvolved,andinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisclassificationsystem.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.5Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section12,ofthisclassificationsystem.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.
