【摘要】:Thispracticecoversproceduresfortestinginstallednon-perforated,gasketedcorrugatedhigh-densitypolyethylene(HDPE)pipelinesusingeitherwaterinfiltrationorexfiltrationacceptancelimitstodemonstratetheintegrityviathelevelofleakageoftheinstalledmaterials,constructionproceduresandinstallationqualityviathelevelofleakage.PipetobetestedunderthispracticeshallincludecorrugatedHDPEdrainagepipemeetingtherequirementsofAASHTOM252,AASHTOM294andSpecificationF2306/F2306M.Note1Theperformancecriteriaspecifiedinthisstandardmaybeusedforotherplasticpipeproducts.Theengineer,however,mustassessifthetestingproceduresareadequatefortheparticularmaterialandinstallationbeingconsidered.Note2Theuserofthispracticeisadvisedthattestcriteriapresentedinthispracticearesimilartothoseingeneraluse.Pipe,600-mm(24-in.)diameterorlarger,maybeacceptedbyvisualinspectionwhentestingforinfiltration.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoinch-pounds,whichareprovidedforinformationalpurposesonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Thistestmethodshallbeperformedonlinesafterallconnectionsandservicelateralshavebeenpluggedandbracedadequatelytowithstandthetestpressures.Thetimebetweencompletionofthebackfilloperationsandtestingshallbespecifiedbytheapprovingauthority.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Thetestingrequiredunderthisstandardnecessitatesoperatinginconfinedspaces.TheusermustinsurethatallOSHAandlocalsafetycodesaredulyobserved.
